SOLIGEN ANNOUNCES A NEW DSPC MACHINE
-- DSPC300G doubles the current DSPC capacity with increased production rate --

NORTHRIDGE, CA--March 8, 1996 - Soligen Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:SGT.EC) announced today that it has completed the development of a new Direct Shell Production Casting (DSPC) machine, named the DSPC300G. Soligen's proprietary DSPC technology enables the production of functional metal parts without the traditional need to produce production tooling first. "The DSPC300G doubles the capacity of the DSPC 300, currently in use. It produces larger ceramic molds 30% faster then the DSPC300," said Yehoram Uziel, President and CEO of Soligen, Inc.

"The first part completed on our new DSPC300G at our Parts Now unit, is a complex V6 engine component," continued Uziel. "With the DSPC300G we are now able to more quickly produce metal castings with complex core structure, such as automotive intake and exhaust manifolds as well as cylinder heads. Producing these engine components presently requires a very long lead time and a substantial investment in pre-production tooling. The DSPC300G enables us to eliminate the need for pre-production tooling and deliver functional cast parts in days instead of months. Our customers should be able to immediately benefit from these improved abilities, and to significantly shorten their time to market," concluded Uziel.

Utilizing it's proprietary DSPC technology that produces ceramic molds for metal casting, Soligen's Parts Now unit produces first article cast metal part directly from a Computer Aided Design ("CAD") file. As a result, it bypasses the traditional need for tooling. Additionally, Parts Now produces production tooling for larger runs of metal castings from the same CAD file as the approved part. By combining these two operations, the company has become a single source for out-sourcing of metal parts. This results in a substantial savings of both costs and time to-market. With its recently introduced service Parts Now on-line customers can electronically order metal parts by accessing the Company's Web site.
